Penthouse prioritizes materials and light over decoration
The west terrace offers an intimate retreat with an open-air bathtub and seating carved from Alaska stone.

A new residential project showcases a different approach to luxury, prioritizing material quality and natural connections over ornate decoration. The penthouse features a restrained palette of beige, warm neutrals, and earthy tones that allow light and texture to define the spaces.

Three distinct outdoor experiences

The design centers on three terraces oriented toward the east, west, and north, each serving a specific mood and function. The west terrace offers an intimate retreat with an open-air bathtub and seating carved from Alaska stone. The east terrace functions as a lush garden, featuring white textured surfaces to frame cascading greenery and red flowering plants. The north terrace is designed for social gatherings, incorporating a bar, a projector screen, and a small water fountain.

The design focuses on creating a cohesive whole where every area has its own character yet remains part of a unified narrative. The interiors avoid the severity often associated with minimalism by introducing warmth through natural stone, marble, and organic forms. Copper detailing and custom elements add individuality without cluttering the visual field.

The approach creates a home that feels expansive and calm, connecting the interior to the exterior environment. It relies on a mix of Italian marble, Alaska stone, and textured wall finishes to build visual depth without relying on contrast. The bedrooms depart subtly from the main color scheme, each receiving a unique treatment that maintains continuity with the rest of the home.

A moment of contrast in the powder room

The copper-panelled entrance establishes an immediate sense of warmth for guests. The golden powder room introduces a more immersive and dramatic moment within the otherwise neutral palette. This shift in tone provides a sharp contrast to the rest of the residence.

Harmony between interior and environment

These quiet tones create a backdrop against which the materials and environment can take precedence.
