Aquaara offers an intimate retreat from the city’s intensity through a balanced composition of tactile materials and restrained contemporary detailing. The atmosphere is deliberately calm, with warmth generated through terracotta-toned surfaces, natural stone, and subdued illumination.
The design philosophy prioritizes purity and restraint, following the maxim that less is more. By using clean lines and simple forms, clarity is established while organic curves add softness and motion throughout the space.
Interior Design
Each interior detail is carefully considered to create an immersive atmosphere that is not overly visual. Sharp angles are replaced by sweeping transitions, curved ceiling arches, and sculptural shapes that guide the eye naturally from one section to the next.
Custom furniture pieces are designed to blend seamlessly with the architecture. Low-profile sofas mix dark-stained wood with cylindrical bolster armrests, and bouclé and woven fabric armchairs provide a tactile setting for conversation.
The Water Bar
Located centrally, the Water Bar expresses AQUAARA’s core connection to water. Made from raw Indian stone, its solid form acts as a natural anchor in the room. A fountain integrated into the counter introduces gentle movement and sound to the social hub.
The flowing water creates a subtle acoustic layer, dampening surrounding noise and emphasizing the feeling of arrival. Above the bar, a naturally carved niche looks like a small grotto, holding spirits while casting a soft golden glow on the mixology area.

Material Palette and Lighting
The choice of materials highlights the balance between natural imperfections and modern elegance. Seamless micro-concrete flooring offers a uniform base, letting the walls, furniture, and other details stand out without creating visual clutter.
Light is treated as an architectural element rather than simply a functional necessity. The illumination remains deliberately low and warm, allowing the surfaces to reveal their depth while maintaining an atmosphere reminiscent of candlelight. Discreet architectural spotlights draw attention to selected textures and sculptural features, while concealed LED lighting along the ceiling edges produces a continuous golden wash across the walls.
Outdoor Space
Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors retract completely, allowing the lounge and dining area to operate as one continuous semi-open environment. Beyond the threshold, dense vertical planting, high-level planters and carefully framed arched openings bring vegetation and views of the sky into the composition.
These elements establish a biophilic connection without overwhelming the architecture, allowing greenery, daylight and air to become part of the sensory experience. The design balances the solidity of stone, timber and earth-derived finishes with the movement of water and the softness of curved forms, resulting in an environment that feels contemporary while remaining deeply connected to natural elements.
Ultimately, AQUAARA presents hospitality as an experience of material, movement and atmosphere rather than ornament. Its restrained architecture, tactile finishes, sculptural furniture, flowing water and layered illumination work together to create a setting that encourages guests to pause and engage with their surroundings. Through this measured interplay, AQUAARA becomes less a conventional hospitality interior and more a quiet, inhabitable sculpture designed around comfort, sensory richness and stillness.
